LTC Insurer LifeSecure has announced their choice for new President and CEO - Tiffany Albert. LifeSecure has been growing recently which can be attributed to three key factors: a focus on employer programs, a great electronic application process and the strong backing of a major Blue Cross/Blue Shield carrier. Unlike many LTC carriers who have a background in Life Insurance, Ms. Albert has a strong health insurance background which should help LifeSecure continue to excel in employer plans and bring a different perspective to the industry.
Here is a biography provided by LifeSecure.
I am deeply honored by the opportunity to lead LifeSecure as we move quickly into our next stage of growth. Our strengths continue to afford us success in Long Term Care, Hospital Recovery and Personal Accident Insurance products. By adhering to our mission of delivering easy, sustainable insurance products and making responsible business decisions, we are poised to significantly enhance our existing product portfolio and are well on our way to achieving unprecedented success.
For those that know me, you are already acutely aware of my passion for our industry, and my personal commitment to transparency and strategic collaboration with distribution partners. For those I’ve not yet had the pleasure of meeting, I hope to do so in the near future so we can also align on the vision to take LifeSecure to the next level. In the short term, I’d like to share a bit of my experience and background.
As president and CEO, Tiffany Albert is responsible for leading LifeSecure as it provides insurance and other market-driven solutions to help protect people from unforeseen health-related risks and expenses. Prior to joining the LifeSecure team, she served in a leadership position with a Michigan-based health insurance carrier.
Tiffany maintains an Accident and Health Insurance agent license in the State of Michigan and her unique experience in the insurance industry spans more than 20 years. Having started her career in Information Technology and Operations for an independent preferred provider organization led Tiffany to several leadership and executive positions, including vice president of corporate sales and provider services, vice president of national accounts and senior vice president of account management for a subsidiary of a large national carrier. Her broad background includes new business development, customer management and retention, marketing, program implementation, operations, provider contracting, information technology, program development and distribution channel management.
Tiffany is a member of numerous professional organizations and has been an active member of the National Association of Health Underwriters since 1997. She is past president of both the Metro Detroit Association of Health Underwriters and the Michigan Association of Health Underwriters, where she previously served as Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer, among other roles. Throughout her career, she has also held memberships in the Self Insurance Institute of America (SIIA), the American Association of Preferred Provider Organizations (AAPPO), and America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP).
Tiffany is a graduate of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and currently resides in Michigan with her husband and their three children.
