LifeSecure Insurance Company has announced the appointment Kevin Stutler as president and CEO, effective July 14, 2016. The move follows the departure of former LifeSecure President and CEO Tiffany Albert, who accepted the position of president and CEO of Blue Care Network, which like LifeSecure is part of the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan (BCBSM) enterprise (click here for additional information). LifeSecure also named Patrick J. Prichard as chief operating officer (COO).
"Tiffany was instrumental in helping LifeSecure reach new heights and strengthening our standing as a prominent national carrier. We thank her for her leadership and wish her the very best in her new role," Stutler said. "LifeSecure is focused on building on our success and expanding our role in delivering simple, yet innovative long term care and other supplemental insurance solutions to families. I look forward to once again working with our leadership team, employees, and distribution partners to lead LifeSecure into its next chapter of success."
Stutler previously served as interim LifeSecure president and CEO following the retirement of Lisa Wendt in 2013. In addition to leading LifeSecure, Stutler will maintain his current role as vice president of Enterprise Ancillary Business for BCBSM. Having held a number of leadership roles for multiple leading insurance carriers, he has a wealth of experience in ancillary products and a strong track record in the development and execution of strategies for a variety of insurance solutions.
Prichard has held leadership roles with several major insurers and has extensive knowledge in the health care industry. His broad experience includes direction of regional sales, service, provider and agent relations, and community involvement. Patrick earned his bachelor's degree from Auburn University and is a licensed life, health, disability and workers compensation agent.
"Patrick's perspective, experience and vision will be an incredible asset to LifeSecure," Stutler said. "He will ensure LifeSecure continues to set itself apart with its first-rate service, innovative technology and forward-thinking strategies as we look to grow and strengthen our position within the industry."
