With many adult children living far away from their parents, long-distance caregiving has become reality. Many adult children are seeing their parents age but are feeling paralyzed by distance to do anything. Many times the adult children are working full-time and do not have the luxury of long trips to take care of mom and dad therefore they are needing to get creative with caregiving options. Luckily for these long-distance adult children, they are not alone. There are solutions available for long distance caregiving, the key is to be educated to what is available and how to best handle the situation.
